Micro Ring Accessories
Remember how it used to be in the old days? If you had short hair it took months to grow those long, glamorous tresses you’d always dreamed of. Well, today that’s all in the past thanks to hair extensions where long, flowing locks can be created in a matter of hours. Even thin and fine hair can be given a new lease of life with extensions.
Micro rings have made things even easier as they enable the extension to be repositioned and, after practice, can even be used at home. They also make extensions easier to apply to fine or short hair. A plastic loop is used to pull the ring which is connected to the hair weft. This is then pulled up against the scalp and special pliers are used to fix into place.
Micro rings and micro ring accessories are available in a variety of colours to match your own hair colour. Colours such as brown, blonde, light blonde and red make them virtually undetectable and they are incredibly lightweight too.
Other micro ring accessories include Remi Cachet Mini Locks which are used in combination with the Remi Cachet Mini Tips. When used together, they create a minute bond which is very easily hidden by the client’s natural hair. These are also available in a broad range of colours to ensure easy matching with natural shades.
Silicone lined micro rings are made of silicone lined metal which protects hair from friction or damage. These should be used with either stick tip hair or when using the LA weave method and are also available in a wide range of shades.
The Micro Ring Metal Micro Needle tool comes complete with three needles of different sizes to fit the various sized application rings. Any needles not in use can be stored safely in the main body. It should be used with silicone rings, micro rings and shrink rings.
Micro Ring Pliers, available in straight or curved tip, are both a fitting and removal tool for micro rings and the Micro Ring Threader Tool is used in conjunction with them. Strands of hair are placed through the loop, the micro ring is applied and the pliers are used to clamp them tightly into place.
