Bobbles / Pins

If you like to put your hair up, you'll need hair pins. Bobby pins or hair grips are incredibly useful if you want to change your hairstyle by pinning your hair back and up. They come in three colours: bronze, black and silver and are thin and small enough to vanish into your hair so that they are virtually invisible to others. Our pack sizes range from 18 hair grips in a pack to 80 and most can be bought in our smallest mini size, regular and jumbo. If you want to wear your hair up in a bun, you will need some hair pins and an elastic ponytail holder. First of all, dampen your hair lightly with a little water. This will make it easier to work with. Next brush all your hair back from your face and tie it up in a high ponytail. Try to make the ponytail as tight as possible by putting the elastic holder close to the back of your head and twisting it around your hair as many times as you can. Make sure the ponytail is exactly where you want your bun to be. Now brush your ponytail with a brush or a comb to smooth it as much as you can and then twist your ponytail around and around into a rope. Now wrap the rope of hair around the base of the ponytail, continuing to twist your hair as you do so. This may take a little practice. Tuck loose ends in as you go if you want your bun to be smooth and neat. Now you will need those hair grips. Use them to grip a little hair from your bun to the hair on your head, working your way around the bun. In this way, you will secure your bun to your head.
