Gorgeous nails are pretty much a must these days. Our hands are on show all the time, and stubby, bitten down fingernails simply don’t make for a good look. But no matter how hard we try, busy lives can play havoc with our nails. Washing up, cleaning, typing, cooking, even just washing our hands - all these everyday activities can lead to fingernails that simply don’t cut it when it comes to glamour.
So what to do? Well, you can look after your hands and nails using a good hand cream which will nourish your skin and nails. You can try not to bite your nails if you still have this very bad habit (not only does it make your nails look scruffy, it’s very unhygienic too) and you can keep your nails in check by keeping them trim and shaped using a decent pair of nail clippers and a file.
Then for the extra touch of glamour you can apply a set of false nails. The best way to do this is using a good quality false nail glue, which is quick drying, invisible and easy to remove. You need a glue which you can brush on smoothly and easily and which will act as a good adhesive to your false nails. The last thing you want is your nails to slip and slide all over the place (wonky manicures don’t look good either). Once they are in place then a decent nail glue will keep them firmly where they belong, until you are ready to remove the nails. It is also a good idea to go for a clear glue, rather than a white one, as you need to make sure it will not be visible when you have applied the nails.
Nice looking hands may seem impossible sometimes, but there are some quick and simple ways to make your hands and nails look great without a lot of hard work.
