I got some of these extensions (in golden wheat I think?)a few months ago because I lost a lot of hair after being ill (I'm only 19 so that was not good) and these really are surprisingly subtle and add lots of thickness and length. They blend really well with your own hair, perhaps a bit shinier in flash photos than your real hair but look really good and are an instant confidence boost. Clips were a little fiddly at first, but when you've done it carefully yourself in front of a mirror a few times you can do it in about 2 minutes. It's all once piece so it never looks like you've got extensions put in in weird places.
Downsides are they aren't the most durable and do tangle underneath but if you take them out carefully and gently brush them they're ok. Also you can't style them much more than into a low ponytail, maybe coming round the side but keeping them loose is easiest and best.
Never had problems with them falling out/coming unclipped, however they do feel quite heavy and really wouldn't be good if you have thick hair already. Alright for dancing, but no theme parks/outdoor activities!
Will be buying a new set soon because I'm dying my hair darker. (Posted on 11/04/2011)
