In this section you will find all the tools of the trade you will need. The main methods of fitting hair extensions are :
Cold Bonding- This is when you use cold glue such as Liguid Gold or Salon Pro. This method will last from 1 week to 5 weeks. Please see the How To Guides for fitting instructions.
Hot Melt-This is when the hair extensions are fitted using either a glue gun or a heat connector. You can use the glue gun to bond extensions in. This is usually called Micro Bonds and should last 2-3 months. You can also buy pre-bonded hair that already has the glue attached and use a heat connector. This type of hair is called pre-bonded and the method is still called Micro Bonds.
Micro Rings- To fit micro ring extensions you will need stick tip hair also known as I tip. You will also need Micro Rings, micro needle or ez threader and the pliers. This method lasts 2-3 months. Please see the how to guides for fitting instructions.
Weaving- Hair Extension weaving or sew in as its also known is where your natural hair is cornrowed (like a french plait) and the hair extension weft is sewn to the cornrows. This method usually lasts 1-3 months depending on how quick your hair grows and how good the stylist is that fits them.
Clip In- Clip in extensions are the current best seller as they are easy to fit and can be very versitile. Please see the how to section to watch the fitting dvd. Usually last 6-12 months.
