Our Hair Extension Top Tips

We want you to love your new hair extensions so we thought we would give your our top tips on finding the perfect match. Human Hair The colour match is the most important part of getting hair extensions, we have expert matchers in our stores that will assist you if you can visit us. If you are going to match your own and order online then we recommend using our loan or buy a colour ring from us, you could also send us a picture on facebook, twitter or Instagram and we will assist you. Please be aware that matching from a picture can be difficult as the lighting can change the colour so we suggest you take 3-4 pictures in natural light. The Length is also important as if you have a short bob and you want 26 Inch extensions its such a drastic change that is can be very noticeable, hence why we only recommend going an extra 6 inches longer that your own hair. The Thickness is another factor that we use to determine which hair extensions we recommend to each customer. We stock hair that is available in 105g, 110g, 120g, 150g, 180g and 220g packs. If your hair is fine to normal thickness then we usually go between the 105g-120g. Of course, you can choose any thickness you like but do remember that the more hair you add, the more aftercare you will require and the longer the washing, drying and styling will take.  The Quality We stock a range of qualities to suit most budgets, we have synthetic clip in hair pieces from £15 up to Russian Hair at £420 and lots in between. If you are having hair extensions for the first time then you may want to try some of the cheaper ranges to see if you like hair extensions. If you are having them fitted with bonds or micro rings then we recommend going for a higher quality as they will be in for around 3 months. If you need any help at all, please get in touch. xx
